Our Favorite Online Deals Right Now - August 2020
You may have noticed that we’ve been adding all kinds of online savings to the LifeBalance Program! We’re excited to have more options that all members can take advantage of! Our Marketing & Communications Director Nicole highlights some of the deals that our staff, and members, have been most excited about.
Chewy – If you haven’t ordered your meds or pet supplies from Chewy before, it’s worth giving them a try! Their products (especially meds) always seem a little more affordable, and I swear they show up on my door before I’ve even plugged in my credit card info. (Ok not literally, but it’s always speedy delivery.) Save $15 on your first order of $49 or more.

Grammarly – Help the kids get through their essays and papers, or improve your own written communication, with Grammarly. I love that Grammarly doesn’t just point out little typos, but provides thoughtful suggestions for clarity, confidence, brevity, and tone. It’s like having your own personal writing teacher. Save 20% on any plan.
Discount School Supply – Whatever your school year is going to look like, Discount School Supply seems to have you covered. From the usual pens and glue sticks to home desk set-ups and curriculum resources, they’re stocked with supplies for all ages. We especially like their “budget bundles”, STEM curriculum tools, and emotional intelligence products. Save $15-$20 on purchases over $100.
Quiksilver – Quiksilver has some great sales on men’s apparel at the moment. No one is about to accuse me of being hip, but I feel like kids these days might like some of the hats, backpacks, and shirts on sale right now. Also if you’re looking ahead to snow season, the prices for snow jackets and pants seem pretty reasonable. Save 30% on three or more sale items.
Reebok – Act quickly; now through August 28, Reebok is offering a whopping 40% off sitewide, PLUS an extra 10% on kid’s shoes. That’s just tough to beat.

DC Shoes – Like Quiksilver, this iconic skating brand is offering us 30% on at least three sale items. Your skater kids will be, like, totally stoked about their sick new gear, homie.
Casper – People rave about their comfy Casper mattresses, and about the company’s try-it-free policy. Basically, Casper ships a mattress to you in a remarkably manageable box, and you get to take it out and watch it expand like those little grow toys you’d put in water as a kid. Then you get to sleep on it for 100 nights, and if you aren’t happy, you can just have them come take it away — and somehow that’s all free. Save up to $200.
CrazyCap – I love the CrazyCap concept — their UV-sterilizing bottle cap can give you clean water from darn near any source. I was skeptical, but I confirmed with their customer service team that CrazyCap’s “Crazy mode” UV setting will kill parasites like Giardia. (They even sent me a link to a study proving it, which I’ll pretend to understand.) A great option for your outdoor adventures, or for your emergency preparedness kit. Save 10%.

BodyRock – BodyRock has both a great variety of guided home workouts AND home workout gear. Their prices are affordable, especially with our 10% discount. Call me a product of the 80s, but I still appreciate a good pair of ankle weights, which I’ll be ordering with our 10% discount.
Runderwear – If you’re guessing this made the list because of the brand name, you’re mostly right. (Our coworker, Heather, said “I keep reading this name and hearing Scooby Doo”, so now I can’t un-hear it.) BUT if you’re a runner or walker, you know that having the right rundergarments is no laughing matter. Runderwear’s chafe-free guarantee applies to their underwear, sports bras (which, by the way, look incredibly supportive), shorts, socks, and accessories. Save 15%.
